ORLEN Upstream with new President

Supervisory Board of ORLEN Upstream appointed Mr. Janusz Radomski President of the Management Board of the Company. Mr. Wiesław Strąk holds the position of Vice-President of the Management Board & CFO in ORLEN Upstream.
 
By resolution of the Supervisory Board of ORLEN Upstream no 21/2017 imposed on 31st May, Mr. Janusz Radomski gained the position of the President of the Management Board of ORLEN Upstream. He have joined the Management Board of the Company in January 2017 as a Corporate and Investments Board Member and have been acting President since 10th March due to vacancy on this position.

Janusz Radomski graduated from the Faculty of History at The John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin in 1993, as well as the Faculty of Strategic Policy Planning at the Queen’s University in Canada and the National School of Public Administration. In the years 1998-2016 he provided strategic business advisory, holding both management positions and being the member of supervisory boards to various companies. He have been working in the energy sector for 10 years and have experience in E&P and distribution of natural gas as well as the wide knowledge in the field of supervising companies. 

In the years 1997-2007 at the Polish Ministry of Treasury held positions (inter alia): Coordinator for World Bank, Classified Information Protection Minister Plenipotentiary, Minister Counsellor in Department of Ownership Supervision II and Director in Department of Ownership Supervision and Privatization, where he was responsible for the corporate supervision over companies from the oil and gas industry, including PKN ORLEN S.A., Lotos S.A., PGNiG S.A. AND GAZ SYSTEM S.A..

In the years 2008-2016 he held key positions in CP Energia S.A. (now DUON SA), Gazpartner Sp. z o.o., Energia Mazury Sp. z o.o. and PGNiG Technologie S.A. Until 8th January 2017 he held the position of President of the Management Board of Research and Development Centre of Teaching Aids and School Equipment (COBRABiD) and Research and Certification Office (within COBRABiD-BBC). Mr. Radomski has a certificate of competency class E, exploitation of gas, group 3 and a certificate of competency class D, gas surveillance, group 3. 

In recent years Mr. Radomski was a supervisory board member in following companies: Bester S.A (1998- 2002), MAFAG S.A (1998-1999), Mifam S.A. (1999-2001), Adamów Coal Mine S.A (2002), Kujawy-Zajazd Polski Sp. z o.o. (2002- 2005), The Port of Gdansk Authority S.A. (2003 –2007), IBIS sp. z o.o. (2007–2009), Zakłady Azotowe Puławy S.A.(2005–2007), CAPITAL PARTNERS Brokerage House (2011 – 8 January 2017).
